Role Purpose

The Ticketing & Group Sales Consultant is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of ticketing operations and group sales across both the World Supercross Championship and Ultimate Sevens.

This role combines commercial sales accountability with ticketing system management, reporting, and event delivery, ensuring a coordinated approach to revenue generation, operational execution, and customer experience across all markets.

The role works cross-functionally with Marketing, Event Operations, host cities, and external ticketing partners to maximise ticketing performance and deliver successful live events.

Key Responsibilities

1. Group Sales (B2B & B2C)

  • Lead and deliver group ticket sales strategy and execution across both World Supercross and Ultimate Sevens
  • Drive revenue through proactive outbound sales and inbound enquiry management
  • Identify and convert opportunities across key segments:
  • Corporate clients
  • Schools and universities
  • Sports clubs and grassroots organisations
  • Travel and tour operators
  • Community and fan groups
  • Manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation through to confirmation and fulfilment
  • Sell a range of products including general admission, hospitality, and packaged experiences
  • Build and maintain relationships with group organisers to support repeat business and long-term engagement
  • Track pipeline performance and provide regular updates on sales progress and forecasts
  • Contribute a defined proportion of overall ticketing revenue through group sales

2. Ticketing Operations & Management

  • Own and manage ticketing operations across all events for both properties
  • Act as primary point of contact for:
  • Ticketing platforms (e.g. Ticketmaster)
  • Venue ticketing teams
  • Oversee ticketing system functionality, including:
  • Inventory builds and management
  • Pricing structures and adjustments
  • Promotional offers and access codes
  • Ensure ticketing products are correctly configured and aligned with commercial and marketing strategies
  • Manage ticket-related customer enquiries and ensure timely resolution
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate setup and on-sale delivery

3. Marketing Integration & Performance Optimisation

  • Work closely with Marketing teams to align campaign activity with ticketing and group sales objectives
  • Analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and their impact on ticket sales
  • Provide recommendations to optimise:
  • Audience targeting
  • Channel performance
  • Conversion strategies
  • Participate in regular campaign review meetings, contributing insights and identifying opportunities to improve sales performance

4. Reporting & Data Analysis

  • Produce and distribute weekly ticketing reports covering:
  • Sales performance
  • Revenue tracking
  • Customer segmentation and demographics
  • Campaign effectiveness
  • Monitor key performance indicators and identify trends across markets and events
  • Provide data-driven insights to inform pricing, sales strategies, and marketing decisions
  • Support reporting requirements for host cities and commercial partners

5. Event Delivery

  • Prepare detailed ticketing and operational briefing documentation for each event
  • Ensure event delivery teams are fully informed on:
  • Ticketing structures
  • Sales performance
  • Customer segments and group bookings
  • Support the transition from sales and ticketing into live event execution
  • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth entry, accreditation (where relevant), and customer experience

6. Post-Event Analysis & Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct post-event reviews across both properties, including:
  • Attendance vs. sales performance
  • Revenue outcomes
  • Marketing effectiveness
  • Customer feedback
  • Produce post-event reports with clear insights and recommendations
  • Identify opportunities to improve future ticketing strategies, sales approaches, and operational processes

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in ticketing, group sales, or event commercial roles within sport or live entertainment
  • Strong understanding of ticketing systems and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to generate and convert sales opportunities
  • Analytical capability with experience in reporting and performance evaluation
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and markets simultaneously
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
