UK-based remote, with travel to customer sites

£90,000-£120,000 base

£180,000-£240,000 OTE + equity

We’re working with a seed-stage AI automation company backed by leading European venture investors.

The company is already north of $1m ARR, selling into major retail and FMCG enterprises, and is likely heading towards Series A. The founder previously built one of Europe’s largest online grocery businesses to around €1.5bn, so this is not a generic AI tool looking for a market.

The platform helps large retailers and FMCG businesses automate complex operational workflows across supply chain, finance, operations and sales.

They are now hiring their first UK & Ireland Senior Account Executive.

This is a greenfield territory role. You’ll own the UK & Ireland patch, build pipeline from scratch, sell into enterprise operational buyers, close paid pilots and expand accounts into larger deployments.

What you’ll be doing

• Owning the UK & Ireland territory end-to-end

• Building outbound pipeline into named enterprise accounts

• Selling to supply chain, finance, operations and commercial leaders

• Running discovery, qualification, pilots and commercial negotiations

• Closing enterprise SaaS deals with land-and-expand potential

• Working directly with the Head of Commercial and founder to shape the GTM motion

What we’re looking for

• 7+ years’ B2B SaaS sales experience

• Proven enterprise AE experience

• Evidence of personally self-sourcing pipeline

• Experience selling £100k+ ACV or complex multi-stakeholder deals

• Early-stage startup experience, ideally seed to Series A

• Strong qualification discipline, ideally MEDDIC / MEDDPICC

• Comfortable selling to operational buyers, not just IT

• UK-based and able to travel to customer sites

Particularly relevant backgrounds include:

• Retail tech

• FMCG tech

• Supply chain software

• ERP / SAP ecosystem

• Finance automation

• Procurement software

• Process automation

• Enterprise AI / automation

• Vertical SaaS selling into complex organisations

This is probably not right if:

• You’ve only worked in highly structured enterprise sales environments

• You rely mainly on inbound leads or SDR-generated pipeline

• You’ve only sold to SMBs

• You’re looking for a polished playbook and mature sales infrastructure

• You’re not comfortable building territory from zero

• You’re not comfortable selling into ambiguity

The right person will be commercially sharp, resilient, comfortable without much structure, and credible enough to sit opposite senior operators at large retail and FMCG businesses.
