Director / Executive Director – Macro Sales (Rates & FX)

A leading international investment bank is seeking an experienced Macro Sales professional to join its Global Markets business.
The successful individual will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with institutional clients across Rates and FX markets, providing strategic market insights, investment ideas and risk management solutions across both G10 and Emerging Markets products.
This is a highly visible front-office role offering significant client exposure and the opportunity to work closely with Trading, Structuring, Research and Senior Management to drive revenue growth and expand the bank’s macro franchise.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with institutional investors across Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Banks, Insurance Companies, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Pension Funds
- Drive revenue generation across Rates and FX products spanning both G10 and Emerging Markets
- Deliver differentiated market insight, trade ideas and investment solutions tailored to client objectives
- Partner closely with Trading and Structuring teams to originate and execute client opportunities.
- Identify new business opportunities and support the continued expansion of the bank’s macro franchise.
- Build a deep understanding of client investment strategies, portfolio construction and risk management requirements.
- Coordinate with Research teams to provide clients with timely macroeconomic, market and thematic insights.
- Collaborate across product areas to deliver cross-asset solutions where appropriate.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market developments, geopolitical events, central bank activity and regulatory changes impacting global markets.
- Represent the firm externally through client meetings, industry conferences and networking events.

Required Experience
- Proven experience within Rates Sales, FX Sales or Macro Sales at a bank, broker-dealer or financial institution.
- Strong understanding of G10 and/or Emerging Markets products.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage senior institutional client relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen and revenue generation track record.
- Deep understanding of macroeconomic drivers and financial markets.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
