Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join our growing team. This role involves designing, developing, and commissioning control systems, with a strong focus on PLC programming and integration with third-party equipment. Flexible and remote working options are available, offering a balanced approach between on-site collaboration and home working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement control systems for industrial automation projects
  • Program PLCs, with a preference for Siemens, Allen Bradley, and other leading platforms
  • Interface with third-party devices using Fieldbus communication protocols
  • Develop and configure HMI/SCADA systems where required
  • Support system testing, commissioning, and on-site installation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across projects
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Control Systems Engineer in an industrial environment
  • Strong PLC programming skills (Siemens, Allen Bradley preferred)
  • Experience with Fieldbus communications and integration of third-party devices
  • Solid understanding of control system design and industrial automation principles
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel for site work when required
