Surgical Robotics (Capital) – Business Development Manager (East Anglia, North East, Yorkshire & Humber, East London)

Territory – East Anglia, North East, Yorkshire & Humber, East London

Basic Salary: £65,000 – £75,000

Bonus: £49,000

Car Allowance: £8,000 per year

The Opportunity

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth across the East Anglia, North East, Yorkshire & Humber, East London)

This is a true capital sales role, requiring the ability to manage complex and lengthy sales cycles, build compelling business cases and engage senior stakeholders throughout the purchasing journey.

You will work closely with surgeons, clinical teams and healthcare leaders to support the adoption of advanced surgical technologies, delivering both clinical and economic value to healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive capital equipment sales across NHS and private healthcare organisations
  • Develop and execute strategic territory plans
  • Build relationships with Consultant Surgeons, Clinical Directors and KOLs
  • Engage with C-Suite executives, Trust leadership teams, Procurement and Commercial functions
  • Work closely with ICB stakeholders and healthcare networks
  • Develop business cases and support capital investment approvals
  • Lead multi-stakeholder sales processes from initial engagement through to implementation
  • Identify new market opportunities and drive territory growth
  • Partner with surgeons and clinical teams to support technology evaluation, adoption and programme development
  • Deliver accurate forecasting and pipeline management
