An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Data & Performance Analyst to join one of the UK’s leading energy storage operations.
Based at the iconic Dinorwig Power Station in Llanberis, North Wales, you will work with operational, engineering and performance teams to analyse large datasets, generate insights and help improve the performance of critical energy infrastructure.
This is a structured 24-month graduate programme offering hands-on experience with real operational data, modern analytics tools and complex engineering systems.
You will gain exposure to data analysis, performance reporting, business intelligence, operational optimisation and cross-functional project work within a major UK energy business.

This role is based at Dinorwig Power Station and candidates must be willing to work from this location.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Collecting, validating and analysing large operational datasets
- Supporting the development of dashboards and reporting solutions
- Building data visualisations using tools such as Power BI
- Conducting trend and performance analysis
- Supporting root-cause investigations into operational issues
- Assisting with the development of data pipelines and reporting automation
- Working alongside engineering, operational and commercial teams
- Producing clear, actionable recommendations from complex datasets
- Communicating insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Key Criteria
Essential
- Bachelor’s Degree (minimum 2:2) or Master’s Degree in:
- Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Analytics Or another highly numerical discipline
Experience using:
- Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau or similar visualisation tools
Evidence of:
- Data analysis projects, Dashboard creation, Data modelling, Statistical analysis, Problem solving using data, Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, Ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively, Genuine interest in data, analytics and operational performance
Willingness to work from Dinorwig Power Station, Llanberis, North Wales
