Role Description The Sales Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Battersea, responsible for leading and executing the company’s commercial strategy across key channels, including high-end restaurants, hotels, retailers, and distributors. This role involves managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting and relationship building to negotiation, closing, and account growth. The Sales Director will oversee sales operations, set and track targets, maintain accurate forecasting and reporting, and ensure strong collaboration with production, marketing, and logistics teams. Daily activities include coaching and developing the sales team, conducting client visits and tastings, representing the brand at events and trade shows, and identifying new business opportunities in domestic and international markets. The role is central to driving revenue growth while upholding Exmoor Caviar’s premium brand positioning and outstanding customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong track record in Sales and Sales Operations, including building pipelines, managing forecasts, and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Proven experience in Business Development, with the ability to identify, acquire, and grow strategic accounts in hospitality, luxury food, or related sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in Team Management, including hiring, coaching, setting objectives, and performance management for sales teams.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on long-term relationship management, consultative selling, and high-touch client care.
- Experience in premium or luxury FMCG, foodservice, or hospitality industries is highly advantageous.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and culinary professionals.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent commercial experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Battersea and travel to client locations, events, and trade shows as needed.
