OTC & ETD Clearing Sales

A leading global financial services platform is seeking an experienced OTC & ETD Clearing Sales professional to join its growing franchise.

The firm provides essential liquidity, market access, clearing and infrastructure services to a diverse client base across the Energy, Commodities and Financial Markets sectors. As part of its continued expansion, the business is looking to appoint a commercially driven sales professional capable of originating new business opportunities, deepening strategic client relationships and driving revenue growth across its global clearing offering.

This is a highly visible front-office role with significant exposure to institutional clients, market participants and senior stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business origination and revenue growth across OTC and ETD Clearing services.
  • Develop and execute strategic client coverage plans across hedge funds, asset managers, proprietary trading firms, commodity trading houses, banks and institutional market participants.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key decision-makers across trading, treasury, operations and risk functions.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client clearing activity across Futures, Options and OTC derivatives markets.
  • Partner closely with Product, Clearing, Operations and Technology teams to deliver solutions that meet evolving client requirements.
  • Represent the firm externally across industry events, conferences and client meetings.
  • Monitor market structure developments, regulatory changes and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Support onboarding initiatives and ensure a seamless client experience throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Contribute to broader strategic initiatives focused on expanding market access and enhancing the firm’s clearing capabilities.

Required Experience

  • Proven track record in OTC Clearing, ETD/Futures Clearing, Prime Brokerage or Post-Trade Services sales.
  • Strong understanding of clearing ecosystems, market structure and exchange-traded and OTC derivatives markets.
  • Existing relationships across hedge funds, asset managers, commodity trading firms, banks, proprietary trading firms and institutional market participants.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate revenue and deliver against ambitious business development objectives.
  • Strong commercial acumen and client-facing skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Ability to operate effectively within a complex, fast-paced and highly regulated environment.
