We’re looking for a Technical Customer Support & Repairs Technician to join our team—someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-tech environment and enjoys solving real-world engineering challenges.
About the Role
In this dynamic role, you’ll combine technical support expertise with hands-on repair and testing, becoming a key link between our customers, engineering teams, and manufacturing operations.
You’ll work with advanced technologies across embedded systems, RF modules, avionics, and rugged electronics, helping customers resolve issues while ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability.
What You’ll Be Doing
Technical Customer Support
- Provide first- and second-line support via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Diagnose hardware and system-level issues across complex electronic platforms
- Guide customers through troubleshooting, configuration, and product use
- Document technical cases and resolutions in CRM systems
Repairs & Testing (Hands-On)
- Perform failure analysis, component-level troubleshooting, and electronic repairs
- Conduct functional testing using oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, and other test equipment
- Work from schematics, engineering drawings, and test procedures
- Maintain detailed repair records, logs, and data
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Partner with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to resolve complex issues
- Contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Support new product introductions with repair processes and documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve diagnostics, tools, and service delivery
Customer Engagement
- Deliver clear, professional, and empathetic communication to customers
- Provide updates on repair status and technical investigations
- Support occasional on-site visits, audits, or field service activities
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Technical qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar
- Strong understanding of digital/analog electronics and system diagnostics
- Hands-on experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.)
- Ability to read schematics and technical documentation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset
Desirable:
- Experience in aerospace, defence, or industrial electronics
- Knowledge of embedded systems, RF technology, PCB/PCBA
- Familiarity with ERP/CRM tools (Oracle, Salesforce, JIRA)
- Soldering certifications (e.g., IPC standards)
- Exposure to Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
