WHAT YOU’LL DO
Client Leadership & Commercial Growth
- Own and develop a portfolio of senior client relationships, acting as a trusted strategic advisor to C-suite and Director-level stakeholders across not just UK organisations.
- Lead the full commercial lifecycle: identify opportunities, shape distinctive propositions, win mandates, and deliver outcomes that exceed expectations.
- Run high-impact workshops, executive presentations, and discovery sessions that establish Artefact as the definitive AI and data partner of choice.
- Drive business development initiatives — conferences, thought leadership, industry networks — that build Artefact’s reputation and pipeline in the UK.
- Monitor and manage the commercial pipeline, contributing to revenue growth and account expansion strategies.
Delivery Excellence
- Oversee the delivery of large-scale AI and data transformation programmes, ensuring consistently high standards of quality, business impact, and client satisfaction.
- Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams spanning consultants, data scientists, data engineers, and analytics engineers — creating the conditions for exceptional work.
- Translate complex technical solutions into clear, compelling business narratives that resonate with senior non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain rigorous programme governance across scope, budgets, timelines, and risk, with full accountability for project success from both a client and team perspective.
Practice & Thought Leadership
- Contribute to and evolve Artefact’s consulting methodologies, AI frameworks, and service offerings, ensuring we remain at the leading edge of the industry.
- Build a body of reusable intellectual capital — case studies, frameworks, tools, and best practices — that strengthens the entire practice globally.
- Drive external thought leadership through publications, speaking engagements, and industry events, positioning Artefact and yourself as authoritative voices in AI transformation.
- Mentor and develop the next generation of consulting talent, fostering a culture of ambition, rigour, and continuous learning.
WHAT YOU BRING
You will be someone who has done this before — and is ready to do it better, at a firm where the ambition matches yours.
- 6+ years of experience at a leading consulting firm, with at least 4 years in a senior project or client leadership role.
- Deep, practical familiarity with AI, machine learning, data science, and analytics — sufficient to command the respect of technical teams and the confidence of client CTOs, CDOs, and CEOs.
- A demonstrable track record of winning and growing client relationships, driving commercial outcomes, and building long-term partnerships.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams on complex, high-stakes transformation programmes with a strong record of delivery.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to adapt your style from technical deep-dives to board-level narratives.
- Entrepreneurial energy: you spot opportunities, back your instincts, move with pace, and make things happen.
