Job Overview
There is one post available. As it is rotational, you will be required to work cross‑site.
This post is on the progression pathway from band 4 to 5. We help support your development to reach band 5 level. The progression is not automatic but vacancy led.
The post holder will spend four months in each area which includes working onwards in a medicine management capacity where you will carry out medicines reconciliations and work closely with the multidisciplinary team. You will also spend time in our in‑patient/out‑patient pharmacy, dispensing and counselling patients.
The post includes participation in weekends (7 days), bank holidays and late duty rotas.
Key Responsibilities
- Work across multiple sites in a rotational scheme.
- Carry out medicines reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
- Dispense medications and counsel patients in in‑patient/out‑patient pharmacy.
- Participate in weekend, bank holiday and late duty rotas.
Qualifications
- BTEC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- ACPT and/or MOP certification is a great advantage.
