Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and methodical ICT & AV technician to join our Medical Education Department at the University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire Coventry site. The post holder will be based at the Clinical Sciences Building and will provide innovative support for all AV and ICT systems, technologies and equipment used for teaching, learning, and administration.
Responsibilities
- Prepare educational spaces in the Clinical Sciences Building and throughout UHCW for events, tailoring AV and ICT equipment to each specification.
- Provide operational support for AV and ICT systems applications and related equipment, including teaching, video‑conferencing, sound, lighting, projection, and recording.
- Take ownership of and resolve tickets raised by users via the online ticketing system.
- Assist with project work as required by the Medical Education IT team.
- Collaborate effectively as a key member of the Medical Education team and with the IT team.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Comfortable communicating with a wide range of staff groups.
