Overview
Job Title: Qualified Pharmacy Dispenser. Location: Nottingham. Employment type: Full time (35‑40 hours) or part time (around 20 hours). Contract: Full time. Proposed start date depends on interview process. Probation period: 6 to 9 months.
Working Hours & Schedule
- Shifts of 6‑9 hours with a 30‑minute unpaid break if over 6 hours.
- At least one shift per day running until 9 pm.
- Fixed shift pattern; no changes week to week.
- No weekend work unless required for staff coverage.
Pay & Benefits
- Monthly payment on the 5th working day of the month.
- Holiday entitlements in accordance with gov.uk guidelines.
- Uniform provided (top).
- Parking facilities available.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as an ambassador for the pharmacy and perform all pharmacy dispenser duties.
- Promote NHS and private services offered on site.
- Receive and complete training as required.
Qualifications
- Previous pharmacy experience or a qualified NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Dispenser or above.
- Training will be provided on an individual basis.
Additional Information
- Independent family‑run pharmacy.
- Seven other pharmacy employees and three pharmacists working rotating shifts.
- Pro‑script connect system handles around 17 000 items, expanding to 20 000.
- No sponsorship; right to work required.
- Driving licence not required.
