Laboratory Lead Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support the laboratory Team Leader by providing expert laboratory analytical services to ensure delivery of compliant products.
• Oversee the execution of batch/job testing and release for one testing group.
• Support compliance activities and work on specific initiatives aligned with laboratory strategy.
• Guide and support the Analysts in the team, providing training and troubleshooting.
• Prepare and check data accurately according to company, customer and regulatory requirements and verify quality/accuracy of results.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and compliance with EHS regulations at all times.
• Maintain working relationships with local areas, customers and suppliers, contributing to improvement initiatives within the laboratory group and cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications and/or experience obtained from working in a highly regulated industry.
• Knowledge and experience of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and its impact on the role.
• Experience managing and planning day‑to‑day activities for a team.
• Experience in root‑causing laboratory investigations and deviations.
• Strong knowledge and experience of laboratory testing techniques within intermediate and final products in a GMP (Quality) environment.
• Good report‑writing skills, a continuous improvement mindset and willingness to work toward standardised practices.
• Strong people skills and ability to work in a team: flexible approach, good communication, planning and organisational skills.
