Press Shop Operative

Stourport£12.71 – £14.24 per hourFull-Time | Early Finish Fridays

We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Press Shop Operative to join a busy manufacturing team in Stourport. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone with experience in manufacturing, engineering, or production environments who is eager to learn and develop new skills.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pmFriday: 7:00am – 1:00pmEarly finish every Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Operate saws safely and efficiently
• Break out laser‑cut parts
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Read and work from technical drawings
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Report any tooling or manufacturing issues to the Supervisor
• Follow all health & safety and manual handling procedures
• Support the wider team with additional duties when required

What We’re Looking For

• Previous manufacturing or engineering experience preferred
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Basic computer skills
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Willingness to learn and develop within the role
