Plumber (Responsive Repairs)

Plumber Location: Site based covering Dorset and Somerset region.

Standard Hours Monday- Friday 39 hours plus out of hours on call.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Plumber to join Novus Property Solutions, Responsive Repairs division, providing high-quality plumbing repairs and replacement services within Social Housing tenanted properties. This role will support you, value your skills, give you stability, whilst keeping your work interesting and meaningful.

Responsibilities

• Replacing sanitaryware, toilets, baths, shower trays, basins, refurbishment of shower heads and taps
• Repair of watermains supplies, soil stacks and drainage, ideally within social housing, tenanted properties
• Maintenance and repair of hot water systems, cold water storage tank maintenance and renewal
• Responsive repairs call‑out on domestic properties – assessment of works required, identifying solutions and carrying out repairs
• Work from job tickets or a handheld device daily, managing own day and workload effectively
• Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes

Qualifications

• Qualified to NVQ Level 2 Plumbing
• Full UK Driving licence is essential
• DBS check required
• Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards
