Axon Moore is partnering with a growing business in Manchester City Centre to recruit a Purchase Ledger Assistant.
Location: Central Manchester + Hybrid. Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 + study support.
Key Responsibilities
- Process high volumes of supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding, matching, and authorisation.
- Reconcile supplier statements and proactively investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain supplier accounts, ensuring ledgers remain accurate and up to date.
- Verify utility billing rates against agreed contractual terms.
- Ensure all invoices are processed within supplier payment terms.
- Handle supplier queries efficiently and professionally.
- Support the wider finance team with ad‑hoc administrative duties as required.
Candidate Specification
- Previous Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable experience.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using financial systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and solutions‑focused approach.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
