Yardman/Telehandler/Plant Operative

TELEHANDLER DRIVER / YARD OPERATIVE

45 Hours between 7am-5pm Monday-Friday

Potential overtime Saturday.

We are seeking a dedicated Telehandler Driver / Yard Operative. This role is essential for maintaining our yard operations, ensuring that equipment and materials are organized and ready for use. You will play a key role in supporting construction and agricultural projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading equipment, materials and aggregates.
• Managing deliveries during the day.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for various tasks as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard area.
• Keeping machinery clean and tidy before and off hire.
• Support construction teams by preparing materials for upcoming projects.

Requirements

• Experience driving Telehandler and Forklift is essential.
• Driving licence and plant machinery driver desired.
• Basic materials and aggregates knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary-Permanent

Pay: Negotiable and dependant on experience.
