We are currently recruiting for a Semi‑Skilled Production Operative to join a successful manufacturing business in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing experience who are looking to develop their skills within a supportive and growing organisation.
The Role
As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring components are prepared, processed, and inspected in line with company standards and customer requirements. The role involves a variety of production tasks, including preparation work, surface treatment processes, and quality inspection activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully handle and move components throughout the production process to prevent damage.
- Complete all production and process documentation accurately.
- Prepare components prior to processing in accordance with work instructions.
- Remove masking materials from production parts.
- Clean components using specified materials and methods.
- Carry out visual inspections to ensure products meet required quality standards.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to manage workload effectively and work to production deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn new processes.
