Children’s Qualified Social Worker – Kinship Support & Supervision Team

Salary: £42,652 – £45,271 per annum (Salaries include market factor) or £47,362 – £50,339 per annum (Salaries include market factor).

Full reimbursement of Social Work England registration fee. Essential Car User Allowance.

Overview

Children and young people are at the heart of all we do. We value relationships and support children in their birth families or extended networks whenever possible, and where this is not possible, we work to maintain their relationships and protect their best interests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct viability assessments jointly with Social Workers for children and young people.
  • Carry out fostering assessments and present findings to Fostering Panel.
  • Prepare special guardianship assessments for court in collaboration with Social Workers.
  • Support and supervise connected person Foster Carers.

Qualifications & Experience

Qualified social worker with experience in fostering, kinship care or related practice. Experience in conducting assessments and supporting families is desirable.
