Job Overview
We are looking for a part-time Support Worker to join a fun, friendly, and bubbly home supporting three adults (two females and one male) in their late 30s to 40s who have moderate learning disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide full support with personal care, cooking, and meal preparation.
- Help people enjoy a varied and fulfilling lifestyle, including community activities such as horse riding, cycling, swimming, and travelling on public transport.
- Assist with swimming, which is part of the regular routine.
Schedule
This is a part-time position of 12 hours per week, typically worked as a long day (7am-10pm) with a sleep-in. Shifts vary across the week and include alternate weekends, offering a flexible and varied rota.
Requirements
- Have a full UK driving licence, access to your own car and business insurance.
- Confidence in water activities and willingness to take part in physical/outdoor activities.
- Patience, adaptability, and the ability to build strong, trusting relationships.
- Energetic, positive, and genuine passion for supporting others.
- Comfortable providing personal care and supporting aspects of daily life.
