Job Description:

Our Isolator department in Thetford is recruiting for Production Technicians to join our fast paced team. You will be manufacturing life‑saving antibiotics and chemo‑therapy products that are sent directly to patients in their homes and hospitals all over the world. Working in a cleanroom environment in specialised personal protective equipment, you will use specialised computers and manually manufacture the nutrition products. Therefore, you must be comfortable wearing PPE.

Training & Development

  • Full Training Provided: No prior pharmaceutical experience? No problem. We provide comprehensive, step‑step training on all equipment, safety protocols, and compounding processes.
  • Formal Sign‑Off: You will receive full technical sign‑off as you master each process, helping you safely build a long‑term career in pharmaceuticals.

What We Offer

  • Starting Salary: £27,000
  • Shift Allowance: £45.35 per week
  • Hours: Mon–Fri rotating shifts (06:00–14:00 and 13:00–21:00).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing: Prepare, compound, and inspect pharmaceutical products following SOPs.
  • Labelling & Dispensing: Label all products according to exact specifications.
  • Cleanroom Operations: Maintain isolator inventory and validate aseptic techniques.
  • Sanitisation: Clean and sanitise equipment and components to regulatory standards.
  • Monitoring: Complete routine equipment sampling, testing, and facility cleaning.
  • Environment: Comfortable working on your feet while wearing specialised cleanroom PPE/gowns.

What skills do you need?

  • GMP Knowledge: Essential understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (or equivalent hygiene/safety standards from other industries) is desired but not essential
  • Education: GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
  • Skills: High attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with other departments such as quality and training so communication skills are essential.
  • Values: A strong sense of compassion, understanding our products go directly to vulnerable patients.
