Biomedical Support Worker level 3 (Band 3) – posts based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, Department of Histopathology. The role is full‑time, 36 hours per week and permanent.

- Post based at Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh – Department of Histopathology
- Full time, 36 hours per week
- Salary Band 3: £29,103 to £31,409
Qualifications
- Educated to SCQF level 7 (e.g. HNC, SVQ 3, Personal Development Award, Modern Apprenticeship, IBMS Certificate of Achievement Part 1).
- Proven knowledge and application of IT skills.
- Must have membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. If not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult) an application to Disclosure Scotland is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform a range of laboratory duties in support of the delivery of clinical services.
- Equipment maintenance, stock control, general housekeeping and manual handling tasks.
- Knowledge of anatomy is desirable.
