Introduction

TCS Consulting is supporting a professional engineering business in the search for a General Labourer / Forklift Operator to support warehouse, production and general site operations.

This is a hands‑on role suited to a reliable and motivated individual with forklift experience, good practical ability and a strong focus on safety. The successful candidate will support material movement, warehouse activity, general labouring tasks and day‑to‑day production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload and move materials around site
• Assist with warehouse, production and general labouring duties
• Support equipment repair and maintenance tasks as instructed
• Assist with cutting metal bar using large bandsaws, with training provided
• Complete general delivery paperwork accurately
• Maintain a tidy, safe and well‑organised working environment

Requirements

• Previous forklift operation experience is essential
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Good general physical health, eyesight and hearing
• Familiarity with the local area
• Willingness to learn and undertake additional training
• CNC machinery experience would be beneficial but is not essential
