Product Recovery & QC Inspector

Shift pattern:

Week 1: Thursday – Saturday, 18:00 – 06:00

Week 2: Wednesday – Saturday, 18:00 – 06:00

The role:

Situated in the receiving warehouse you will represent the interests of the processes within the warehouse and the product care of items. You will ensure that due care and attention is given to the detailed task of inspection whilst also servicing the needs of a production based warehouse.

What you’ll take on:

• Quality check stock thoroughly and ensure it is fit for purpose and recorded correctly; if not, report errors.
• Process damaged, used and faulty products with a focus on the recovery aspect.
• Ensure fraudulent items are logged in the system and raise them to the fraud team for investigation.
• Inspect and repack product with due care and attention to detail.
• Communicate any poor product care handling, packaging issues and unresolved problems to the site.
• Conduct audits to identify areas where improvements can be made to processes and product care.
• Maintain departmental paperwork daily, ensuring accuracy of information, reporting and filing.
