Support Worker

Job Introduction

We are Eden Futures, delivering support services for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental ill health and complex needs. We are recruiting Support Workers to join our Supported Living services across Rotherham, supporting individuals in their homes and the community to live independently.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate: £12.71 (equivalent £27,758.64 per annum based on a 42‑hour week; salaried portion pro‑rated).
• Eligible for £500 bonus through our refer‑a‑friend scheme (unlimited referrals).
• No sponsorship offered for this position.

Main Responsibilities

• Support users to lead a full, active life in line with their wishes and choices, considering assessed needs and individual support plans.
• Ensure user safety, safeguarding welfare and protecting from abuse.
• Provide emotional support, maintaining a person‑centred approach.
• Assist participation in social activities, manage finances and medication, help with practical tasks around the home, and support personal care, hygiene and healthcare.
• Act as informal point of contact for users’ family and social workers.
• Accurately record and report issues related to care and support.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations and consider others’ health and welfare.

Ideal Candidate

• Caring, compassionate, with genuine passion to help users achieve independence.
• Values‑first approach; experience in care sector welcome but not required.
• Positive mindset in challenging situations, able to influence positively.
• Enjoys teamwork and self‑initiative, willing to support colleagues.
