Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional assistance to the public via intercom, phone, and e‑mail.
- Assess new customers, issue appropriate mobility aids (scooters, wheelchairs), demonstrate safe usage, and ensure equipment is clean, safe, and well‑maintained.
- Conduct regular inspections of parking and Shopmobility areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational standards; promptly report any issues or hazards.
- Maintain accurate electronic records for customer usage, equipment inventory, revenue, and permits; manage databases and support daily operational coordination.
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this post.
Full driving licence required.

Working Hours & Pattern
Full-time; average 37.5 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday in Week 1; Wednesday, Thursday, Friday in Week 2).
Contract & Salary
Contract: Permanent.
Salary: £29,540 – £32,061 per annum (City Pay Band 3), pro-rated for part-time.
Location
Primarily at Grand Arcade; will need to travel between all car parks around the city.
