Delivery Driver – Leeds

Overview

Ocado Logistics is looking for Customer Service Team Members to deliver top-quality groceries on time across all days of the week. The role involves driving on foot, operating a van, and interacting with customers while ensuring a safe and efficient delivery process.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products on time and in an efficient manner, following pre-planned routes and automatically loaded van schedules.
• Operate the van safely in all weather conditions, ensuring all road safety rules are followed.
• Handle deliveries that may include alcohol products, and ensure the driver is 18+.
• Communicate effectively with customers to provide excellent service.

Qualifications

• Full UK or EU driving licence.
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.
• Good communication skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Contract Details

• Contract type: Permanent.
• Contract hours: 37.5 hours per week, including paid breaks.
• Working days: any 5 days out of 7, with 7.5‑hour shifts.
• Shifts: AM and PM, from 05:30 to 12:00 (midnight).
• Pay structure: paid every four weeks (lunar pay).

Hourly Pay Rates

• Basic rate (Mon–Sat): £12.75
• Evening premium (Mon–Sat, from 6pm): £1.12
• Sunday day premium: £1.28
• Sunday evening premium: £2.51
• Overtime rate (Mon–Sat, day shift): £15.94
• Overtime rate (Mon–Sat, evening shift): £17.06
