Support Worker / Children’s Residential Home.

Salary
£13.45 per hour PLUS additional pay: £62.64 per sleep‑in (working approximately 4‑8 sleep‑ins per month, an additional £3,000‑£6,000 per annum).
Requirements
- Great communication skills, fun, positive and energetic.
- Experience and qualifications in children’s care or transferable skills such as nursery, sport, education or early years experience.
- Ability to build trusting relationships and be a role model.
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Ability to work flexibly, including shifts and sleep‑ins.
Responsibilities
- Be part of a caring team that provides a safe and loving home for children and young people, led and supported by a registered manager.
- Act as a positive role model and give encouragement and praise.
- Enjoy fun days out such as swimming, trampolining, football, dance and revisit missed milestones.
- Provide emotional and physical support to allow the children to reach their full potential in sometimes challenging situations.
- Build friendships and trusting relationships.
- Help them to find pleasure in everyday tasks.
- Empower them to make decisions about themselves.
