Duties

• Diagnose, repair, and service a range of HGV vehicles in the workshop
• Fault finding using manual and digital diagnostic tools
• Replace and repair faulty vehicle components
• Prepare repair estimates and discuss work scope with customers
• Maintain accurate vehicle repair records in liaison with transport managers
• Order parts and liaise with the stores team to ensure availability
• Support and mentor apprentices or work experience individuals
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role
• Relevant qualifications, such as Level 3 HGV or Vehicle maintenance certification
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude towards work and learning opportunities
• Willingness to undertake training, including obtaining Class 2 Driving Licence and Telehandler Certification if not already held
