Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for fire safety across the site
• Conduct Fire Risk Assessments and provide clear, practical recommendations
• Develop and continuously improve fire safety strategies, policies, and procedures
• Lead fire emergency planning, including drills, evacuation strategies, and reviews
• Carry out fire door inspections and support compartmentation surveys
• Deliver engaging fire safety training to raise awareness and build confidence
• Collaborate with teams across the business to embed best practice into daily operations
• Monitor compliance with legislation and ensure standards are not just met, but exceeded

Qualifications

• Experience within a Health & Safety role, with strong fire safety knowledge
• Solid understanding of fire safety legislation and best practice
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
• Confident communicator, able to influence at all levels of the business
• Ability to work independently while building strong working relationships
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
