Overview
At Kimpton Fitzroy London we are looking for a Demi Chef de Partie to join our luxury hotel in Central London. Kimpton Fitzroy London is an iconic 19th‑century building located on the eastern side of Bloomsbury’s Russell Square that blends historic heritage with contemporary interiors, offering guests a unique lifestyle luxury experience.
Key Responsibilities
As a Demi Chef de Partie you will assist the Chef de Partie in preparing and cooking dishes according to the menu specifications and recipes, ensuring all dishes meet the highest standards. You will prepare ingredients, maintain food safety and hygiene standards, keep accurate documentation, and contribute to a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment. You will work across all sections of the kitchen and help elevate every interaction by bringing authenticity and creativity to your role.
Qualifications
• 2 years’ experience as a Commis Chef in a 4‑/5‑star hotel or restaurant across all kitchen sections.• Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 or an equivalent NVQ qualification.• Proven ability to maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen while ensuring all equipment is well‑maintained and functioning.• Passion for delivering great service and food, willingness to learn and work as part of a wider hotel team.
