Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: West Drayton, Greater London

Contract: Full-Time, Temporary

Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored education plans that meet individual learning requirements.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters confidence and independence.
• Support students with communication, sensory, and behavioral needs, using appropriate strategies to enhance their development.
• Adapt learning materials and approaches to ensure accessibility for all students.

About You

To excel as a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Have experience working with children, preferably in an SEN or education setting.
• Be patient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting students with additional needs.
• Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Be proactive, adaptable, and committed to making a real difference in children’s lives.
• Be dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
