HGV II / Class 2 Driver

MKD Recruit are seeking experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a growing company at their site in Whittlesey. If you have at least 6 months experience of driving Class 2 / HGV II / Rigids and are looking for a well‑paid, long‑term or ongoing opportunity covering the East of England, please give us a call on (phone number removed).

This full‑time, Monday–Friday role starts at 05:00, with varied finishing times and will have you delivering cardboard across the region.

Responsibilities

• Operate a curtain‑sided HGV Class 2
• Plan routes effectively while adhering to legal driving hours
• No handballing: you simply arrive, book in, and pull curtains
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections
• Operate the proof of delivery EPA system properly (training given)

Requirements

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 driving licence
• Up‑to‑date CPC and DIGI Card
• Minimum 6 months of Class 2 driving experience
• A reliable and punctual work ethic
• A maximum of 6 points (must NOT include: IN10, DD, DR or DG)
