Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant for a part-time, on-site position in Leicester. The Senior Care Assistant will be responsible for providing compassionate care to individuals, as well as overseeing care practices. Daily duties include assisting residents with personal care, medication rounds, supporting their physical and emotional wellbeing, monitoring health conditions, and managing care plans. The role also involves fostering positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, ensuring a supportive and safe environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Manual Handling and safe handling of individuals
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities
- Experience in Dementia Care and general Caregiving practices
- Empathy, patience, and a dedication to providing person-centered care
- Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is an advantage
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care. (Mandatory Training, Including Medication Administration)
