Job Description We are looking for a proactive engineering professional who will help protect client operations by ensuring all equipment and systems are maintained in statutory compliance and satisfactory operational condition. Through planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding and effective coordination, you will help maintain the resilience and availability of engineering assets that support client and staff facilities. Key Responsibilities Work in partnership with the campus facilities team to deliver a best-in-class workplace environment for the client. Carry out PPM in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained and plant reliability is maximised. Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) and ISS Safe Systems of Work (SSOW). Respond promptly and effectively to all engineering-related reactive maintenance issues and helpdesk requests. Coordinate initial actions associated with all client engineering requests. Coordinate and manage visiting specialist sub-contractors for scheduled PPM and reactive call-outs. Undertake fault finding and diagnosis during PPM and reactive maintenance activities. Deputise for the Shift Leader as and when required. Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Experience working within a business-critical environment. Qualified as a mechanical engineer/plumber within accepted standards. All-round knowledge of building services systems and their operation. Strong fault-finding, problem-solving and prioritisation skills. Proactive approach to engineering activities with the ability to meet deadlines and manage paperwork efficiently. Good written, IT and verbal communication skills. Positive team contributor with a strong work ethic and can-do attitude. Passionate about engineering, with demonstrable resourcefulness and a commitment to developing additional skills and expertise.
