Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer
Salary: up to £65,000 DOE
Location: Nottingham, UK

An established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join its growing team in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer to take a leading role in delivering a wide range of structural projects across multiple sectors including residential, commercial, education, healthcare, industrial, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of structural engineering projects from concept through to completion
- Prepare structural calculations, reports, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Manage project workloads, budgets, and delivery programmes.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and other consultants.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians within the team.
- Attend site visits, inspections, and project meetings as required.
- Ensure designs comply with current regulations, standards, and best practice.
Experience and Qualifications Required
- Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Chartered status or working towards Chartership (MIStructE or MICE preferred).
- Significant post-graduate experience within a consultancy environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK design standards and building regulations.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
