We are seeking an experienced Protection Team Leader to manage and develop a team of Protection Advisers within a regulated financial services environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving team performance, coaching advisers, monitoring compliance standards, managing recruitment and development, and ensuring excellent customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Protection Advisers.
• Drive sales performance and improve conversion rates.
• Conduct call listening, quality reviews and performance coaching.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding and team development.
• Handle complaints, performance management and HR-related matters.
• Ensure FCA, Consumer Duty and compliance standards are maintained.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and produce management reporting.

About You

• Minimum 2 years’ advised protection sales experience.
• Previous team leadership or management experience.
• Strong understanding of FCA regulations, Consumer Duty and T&C requirements.
• Proven ability to coach, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
