Job Description:

London startup seeking a content marketer to turn webinars into engaging LinkedIn, YouTube, and blog content.

Compensation: £18,000/year (£1,500/month)

## ABOUT THE COMPANY

EdgeComply helps brands sell compliant products.

When companies launch products in new markets, they face 100s of rules covering things like chemicals, product safety, environmental requirements, labels, and user manuals. Our job is to help them figure out what applies, what actions they need to take, and how to stay compliant.

Why does product compliance matter?

Most product regulations exist for a good reason: to protect people and the environment. The problem is that compliance has become increasingly complex. As brands sell through Amazon, Shopify, and other global channels, they’re exposed to regulations across multiple countries. Keeping up with all those requirements is difficult. Missing one can lead to fines, product recalls, shipment delays, or even personal liability for company directors.

What is our core target audience?

It’s mainly product managers at apparel brands (between 25-500 employees) in the UK and North America. They usually don’t have an in-house compliance person, have very little compliance expertise, and are worried about missing requirements.

## ABOUT OUR CONTENT

We’re just getting started with content. Every 2 weeks, we host a webinar led by our sales team and compliance experts. These webinars are the engine behind our entire content strategy. We want to turn our webinars into as many useful content pieces as possible:

  • LinkedIn posts
  • Short-form videos
  • Blog articles
  • Newsletters
  • Guides, checklists, and infographics

Right now, we don’t have the bandwidth to do that well. That’s why we need your help! Here is a recent webinar example: https://youtu.be/GQQrrSwDW0g

Our content vision

The compliance industry is (unsurprisingly) verrrrry boring. The industry is dominated by legacy companies like TÜV, SGS, and UL. Most of their content feels like it was written by lawyers for lawyers. We want to be different. Our goal is to make compliance easy to understand, engaging, and genuinely useful. If a 5th grader can’t follow it, it’s probably too complicated.
