HR Advisor | 12-Month FTC | Hybrid Working (1 Day WFH) | Salary > £38K

Elevation Recruitment Group’s HR Division are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing business for an experienced HR Advisor to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys managing a busy Employee Relations caseload while working in a true generalist HR role.

You’ll partner closely with managers across the business, providing practical and commercially focused HR support on a wide range of people matters. The role offers significant exposure to ER, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, capability and change cases, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a high-volume Employee Relations caseload from start to finish
  • Advising and coaching managers on disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence and change management processes
  • Leading on long-term absence and occupational health cases
  • Acting as a trusted HR partner to managers across the business
  • Supporting HR projects, people initiatives and continuous improvement activities
  • Producing and analysing HR metrics to identify trends and support decision-making
  • Ensuring HR practices remain compliant with current employment legislation

About You

  • Previous experience in a HR Advisor or equivalent generalist HR role
  • Strong Employee Relations experience with confidence managing complex and high-volume casework
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
