Job Description:

General Manager – Chelsea Barracks, London

Chelsea Barracks is one of London’s most prestigious residential estates, developed by Qatari Diar. As the estate continues to evolve, the emphasis is shifting towards a more refined, service-led and hospitality-driven environment.

This is a senior, on-site leadership role with full accountability for operational performance, resident experience and the long-term positioning of the estate. It requires someone who can move beyond day-to-day management and take real ownership of standards, culture and delivery.

You will lead across operations, engineering and security, ensuring the estate operates seamlessly while maintaining a discreet, five-star experience for a high-net-worth resident community. You will also act as a key interface with ownership, bringing clarity, control and credibility to all aspects of on-site performance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading all on-site teams and service partners
  • Setting and maintaining best-in-class service standards
  • Managing resident relationships with discretion and professionalism
  • Overseeing budgets, service charge and commercial performance
  • Ensuring compliance across health, safety and operational risk
  • Driving continuous improvement across service delivery and estate presentation

We are looking for:

  • Senior leadership experience within ultra-prime residential, luxury residential, branded residences or hospitality-led residential environments
  • Proven experience managing high-value residential communities, luxury serviced apartment portfolios or comparable UHNW customer environments
  • A strong track record of delivering exceptional customer and resident experiences within high-expectation settings
  • Experience overseeing complex operations, including facilities management, security, compliance and third-party service partners
  • Strong commercial awareness, including responsibility for operational budgets, service charge environments and long-term asset stewardship
  • The presence, judgement and credibility to build relationships with residents, ownership groups and senior stakeholders
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and creating a high-performance service culture

Please note:

This role is primarily focused on luxury residential operations. Candidates whose experience is solely focused on hotel operations, food and beverage, guest relations, training, quality assurance or front-of-house leadership are unlikely to be aligned to the requirements of the role.
