Role: Finance Analyst

Length: 12 month FTC

Salary: £42k DOE

About the Role

Support the Financial Controller with monthly management accounts and month-end reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and consolidation of budgets and forecasts
• Help produce key financial reports including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and cost tracking
• Prepare basic journals and assist with reconciliations (including intercompany and balance sheet items)
• Support cash collection tracking and follow up on outstanding actions
• Assist in producing intercompany recharge invoices and ad-hoc billing
• Help maintain accurate financial records and reporting outputs
• Support ongoing process improvements and system efficiency initiatives
• Carry out ad-hoc analysis and reporting tasks as required

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or studying towards an accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA)

Required Skills

• Around 1–2 years’ experience in a finance
• Good Excel skills and confidence working with data
• Experience or exposure to SAP (essential) and other finance systems is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Able to manage your workload and meet deadlines with guidance
• Proactive attitude and interest in improving processes
