Band Knife Operative

Job Overview

Our client near Gloucester town centre is looking for an experienced industrial band‑knife operator to cut foam to size and shape, working from written instructions, drawings or templates.

Job specific training will be given.

Applicants must be able to work in both imperial and metric measurements. Some lifting is involved and would suit a hard working, practical and versatile person.

This is a temp to perm position.

Responsibilities

• Cut foam to size and shape according to written instructions, drawings or templates.
• Work in both imperial and metric measurements.
• Perform lifting tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a band‑knife operator.
• Ability to work in both imperial and metric systems.
• Hardworking, practical and versatile.

Employment Type

Temp to perm position.

Pay

£13.00 per hour.

Hours of Work

40 hours per week: Monday‑Thursday 7:30‑12:30 and 1:00‑4:30; Friday 7:00‑1:00. Some overtime may be available or required.
