Job Description:

We are looking for a caring individual to join our current support team, supporting a young lady with complex health needs who lives in her own home in Poynton. You will be expected to build a good working relationship with the client, her family, and her team of PAs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a caring and supportive relationship with the client.
  • Provide health‑care support, including personal care, medication administration, nutrition, and moving and handling, following instructions from senior team members.
  • Be available to take part in the on‑call rota when required.
  • Provide social and emotional support within the home and help the client access the community and attend local activities.
  • Drive the client’s wheelchair‑accessible vehicle (manual gears) if you hold a full clean driving licence and meet motor‑insurance requirements.
  • Work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, and be reasonably fit to participate in indoor and outdoor physical activities, including swimming.

Requirements

No prior health or social‑care experience is required, as full training will be provided. The role requires reliable, trustworthy, kind, and caring personal qualities, teamwork, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
