Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a fast-paced manufacturing operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving performance across production, safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement while leading and developing multi-shift operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to achieve production and customer service targets.
• Promote a strong safety-first culture and ensure compliance with quality and environmental standards.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, operational plans, and improvement initiatives.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence activities.
• Lead, coach, and develop operational teams across a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to achieve business objectives.
• Manage operational projects, resource planning, and performance improvement activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ Operations Management experience within manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven track record of delivering operational and performance improvements.
• Strong communication, planning, and reporting skills.
• Flexibility to support a multi-shift operation and travel when required.

Desirable

• Degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related discipline.
• Lean, TOC, Project Management, IOSH, or NEBOSH qualifications.
