Systems Engineer (Requirements & Acceptance) Client: BAE Systems Location: Filton Working Arrangements: Hybrid working Contract: 6 months Rate: £41.87 PAYE or £56.44 Umbrella This role sits within a complex defence systems environment, supporting the development and delivery of high-integrity engineering solutions.
Key responsibilities include Leading and managing systems engineering activities across requirements capture, definition, and management Ensuring robust requirements traceability through the full lifecycle, from stakeholder needs through to verification and validation Supporting acceptance activities, ensuring systems meet contractual, technical, and safety requirements Working closely with cross-functional teams including design, integration, test, and project management Contributing to requirements reviews, compliance assessments, and assurance activities Using structured tools and processes to maintain configuration control and engineering governance Supporting risk identification and resolution related to system requirements and acceptance criteria
Ideal experience includes: Strong background in systems engineering within defence, aerospace, or similarly regulated industries Ideally hold Active SC Clearance to speed up the onboarding process.
