Director Capital Raising – Renewable Energy

We are supporting an international renewable energy platform focused on utility-scale solar, BESS, and onshore wind projects across multiple markets.

They are looking to appoint a Director of Capital Raising to lead funding strategy and execution across a growing project pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead capital raising across equity and debt for solar, BESS, and onshore wind projects
• Structure and execute financing solutions including blended finance and SEA models
• Build and manage relationships with DFIs, multilateral institutions, infrastructure funds, and strategic investors
• Originate and negotiate funding structures at both project and portfolio level
• Work closely with development, investment, and commercial teams to support project execution
• Support financial modelling, investment materials, and IC presentations
• Track market trends across energy transition financing and emerging markets

Requirements

• Around 10–15+ years of experience in capital raising, project finance, or infrastructure investment
• Strong experience working with DFIs
• Experience with blended finance or similar capital structures
• Exposure to renewable energy projects, ideally solar, BESS, or onshore wind
• Strong commercial mindset and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working in an international environment
