Solicitor – Risk & Best Practice – Bristol – Hybrid
A forward-thinking law firm in Bristol is seeking a Risk and AML Solicitor to join its expanding Risk & Best Practice team. This is a dynamic and high-impact role, offering the opportunity to work at the heart of the business, advising on critical regulatory, ethical, and compliance matters. The successful candidate will play a key role in safeguarding the firm while influencing best practice across all departments.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, this position offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to shape policy and drive continuous improvement within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on regulatory frameworks including SRA Standards, AML, GDPR, and ethical issues
- Supporting claims handling, complaints, and liaison with insurers
- Reviewing and drafting client terms, supplier agreements, and internal policies
- Delivering training, monitoring compliance, and supporting audit and certification processes
This role is ideal for a qualified solicitor with strong experience in legal risk and compliance. The individual will demonstrate excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, and a proactive, solutions‑driven mindset, with the confidence to engage at all levels.
