Senior Service Designer

Overview

Senior Service Designer – London (Hybrid). We are seeking a Senior Service Designer to join a leading UK digital design consultancy, supporting large-scale digital transformation programmes for both public and private sectors.

You’ll be an experienced Service Designer with at least 4-5 years of experience, ideally with a public sector or consulting background, and keen to grow within an expanding design practice.

Base pay range

London – Hybrid

What you’ll do

• Lead strategic planning for the client’s service with the user at the heart.
• Create service maps, value propositions or service blueprints.
• Provide advice and recommendations on potential approaches to organisational problems.
• Work to common goals and be the voice of the customer in the room.
• Generate concepts to evolve and improve existing services.
• Simplify complex information and processes focused on the user and how they’ll interact with a service.

Your ideal background

• Expert at designing services from end to end and improving existing services that are underperforming.
• Strong User-Centred design experience.
• Experience delivering workshops, proposals and assets.
• Experience with GDS is highly desired.
• Experience with mentoring or management is advantageous.
