Role Overview
We’re looking for a Chief of Staff to join our Core Banking team, reporting directly to the General Manager of Core Banking. This high‑impact role partners closely with senior leaders to drive strategic priorities, improve organisational effectiveness, and ensure we execute brilliantly across a complex and fast‑moving area of the business.
You’ll act as a strategic partner and operational leader, helping create clarity, alignment and momentum across teams. You’ll balance long‑term thinking with hands‑on execution, helping leadership teams make better decisions, move faster, and stay focused on what matters most.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving complex organisational challenges, and is excited by the opportunity to influence at scale.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted thought partner and strategic partner to the General Manager of Core Banking and wider leadership team
- Drive strategic planning and execution across high‑priority, cross‑functional initiatives
- Own and improve leadership operating rhythms, including planning cadences, decision‑making processes, and organisational communications
- Create visibility across organisational, financial, and performance metrics to support prioritisation and effective execution
- Identify operational inefficiencies, resolve blockers, and help the organisation scale effectively
- Build alignment across teams and stakeholders, ensuring strategic decisions translate into meaningful outcomes
Qualifications
- Experience in strategy, operations, consulting, investment banking, Chief of Staff, or similar environments
- Strong strategic thinking combined with operational excellence and a bias for execution
- Highly analytical, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and able to simplify complex problems and information
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and build trust quickly
- Organised, proactive, resilient, and comfortable operating at pace across multiple priorities
- Experience in high growth and/or scale‑up tech companies is a plus
